By engaging FYER, you agree to these terms.
1. Scope of Services
FYER provides consultancy, advisory, technical delivery and digital transformation support to charities, public sector organisations, safeguarding environments and regulated services.
Services may include (but are not limited to):
- Technology consultancy
- Cloud architecture and secure‑by‑design implementation
- Digital transformation support
- Governance, data protection and operational guidance
- Infrastructure planning and delivery
- Project and programme support
- Technical documentation and advisory reports
The exact scope will be defined in writing before work begins.
2. Engagement & Onboarding
Before any work starts, FYER will provide:
- A written scope or proposal
- Estimated timelines
- Pricing or day‑rate structure
- Any required documentation
Work begins only once both parties confirm acceptance.
3. Fees & Payment Terms
FYER operates on a transparent fee structure.
Payment Terms
- Invoices are issued at agreed intervals or upon project milestones.
- Payment is due within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.
- Late payments may incur reasonable interest charges as permitted by UK law.
Expenses
Any pre‑approved expenses (e.g., travel, specialist tools, third‑party services) will be invoiced separately.
4. Advisory Nature of Services
FYER provides professional advice based on experience, best practice and recognised standards. All recommendations are advisory in nature.
The commissioning organisation is responsible for:
- Final decisions
- Implementation
- Governance
- Compliance
- Risk assessments
- Operational controls
FYER cannot be held liable for decisions made without full organisational oversight.
5. Confidentiality
FYER treats all client information as confidential.
We will not disclose:
- Sensitive organisational information
- Safeguarding‑related data
- Operational details
- Internal documents
- Personal data
Unless:
- You provide written consent
- Disclosure is legally required
- It is necessary to protect against fraud, abuse or security threats
FYER applies strict confidentiality standards aligned with safeguarding and regulated environments.
6. Data Protection & GDPR
FYER complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We commit to:
- Secure handling of client data

FYER may recommend or integrate third‑party tools, platforms or cloud services.
FYER is not responsible for:
- Third‑party availability
- Pricing changes
- Security incidents
- Service outages
- Licensing decisions
- Future platform updates
Clients must review third‑party terms before adoption.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
FYER is not liable for:
- Implementation decisions
- Operational incidents
- Misuse of systems
- Governance failures
- Third‑party platform issues
- Regulatory outcomes
- Losses arising from actions taken without FYER oversight
FYER’s total liability is limited to the value of the contract or engagement.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice.
Upon termination:
- Work completed to date will be invoiced
- Any outstanding fees must be paid
- FYER will provide a handover where appropriate
